Lorena Siminovich’s Petit Collage really is a fabulous brand. We’re big fans at BG and I am at home – we have all the books and Kitty was bought the beautiful bamboo woodland mobile when she was born. The latest releases, You Are My Baby board books (Chronicle Books, RRP £5.99) are predictably gorgeous.
The two books, Safari and Farm, feature parent and baby animals exquisitely illustrated by Siminovich. But the twist is that the babies are housed in their own mini board book at the bottom of the main one. We’ve been reading these for a couple of nights and Kitty loves turning the pages of the mini book – it’s at just the right height for her if she’s sitting on my lap. Buy both as a lovely newborn gift.
