Joining the various different baby clubs out there is an excellent way to save money on baby gear.Most of them send you vouchers or gifts upon joining and then periodically throughout your child’s first few years.
The Boots Parenting Club is excellent, as soon as you know you are pregnant you can join and start receiving offers.Once you have joined they will send out a welcome pack with a voucher for a free changing bag when you buy Pampers nappies.The welcome pack also contains a voucher to get double Advantage Card points on many brands of baby goods, plus loads of money off vouchers and a magazine.Up until your child is two they will send you regular magazines and mailings with further money off or extra points vouchers.
The Tesco Baby and Toddler Club is another brilliant club to join.Upon joining they will send you a voucher for a lovely baby beginnings basket which you get when you purchase Huggies nappies. It contains a teddy, some nappies and wipes samples, and baby toiletries in a wicker basket.They will also send vouchers for money off or extra points on baby products with a magazine every few months.
Pampers – Join the Pampers Village website and they will send you vouchers and samples every few months.They will also send baby care information and regular emails about your child’s development.
Huggies – Upon joining the Huggies Club they will send out £4 of vouchers to you along with various vouchers and samples a couple of times a year.You will also receive email updates from them as well as entries into competitions and baby care information.
Bounty – Your midwife should give you information about the Bounty Club when you have your initial appointment and also after your baby is born.You can also register online to receive a voucher for the Bounty Packs which you can collect from Boots or Asda.Each pack contains samples of nappies, toiletries and food as well as money off vouchers and information leaflets.  If you collect your pack from Asda you will also receive a voucher for £5 off George baby clothing (great for essentials like vests and babygrows) and other money off vouchers for the store.There are 4 packs to collect at the various stages of your pregnancy and your baby’s first few months.
Emma’s Diary is a club similar to Bounty.You sign up online and they will send you a voucher to pick up a pack from Nizagara Online or LLoyds Pharmacy.The pack contains sample products, money off vouchers (including a £40 Argos voucher) and information leaflets.There is also a website with baby care information, forums and competitions.You can also choose to receive email offers and updates too.
Toys R Us have two different clubs to join. The first is their Mother & Baby Club which will send you a free catalogue and mailings with loads of money off vouchers.The second is the Gold Card, which is free to sign up to and offers 1 point per pound for every in store spend over £10.Depending on how much money you have spent in store over 6 months you will be sent some money off vouchers.
The Hipp Organic Club is open to pregnant mums and parents with babies up to 18 months of age. Throughout your pregnancy and your baby’s first few months you will be sent regular updates and information appropriate to your baby’s age.When your baby reaches 5 months they will send through a weaning pack containing money off coupons, free samples, weaning spoons, a bibs and other goodies.They will also send regular mailings, updates and free samples up until your baby is 18 months old.I have loads of their weaning spoons and they are very useful!
Early Learning Centre – Join the ELC Big Birthday Club and every year you will receive a 20% off voucher to spend on your child’s birthday presents.It can be used online, instore, or over the phone. Â They also send regular discount vouchers through the year too. Â Last year my daughter got a great free CD from them full of animal nursery rhymes and my son got a sea themed one.They have been listened to A LOT!
Petits Filous Club – Join to recieve a free weaning spoon and booklet as well as money off vouchers.
Heinz Tiny Tums Club send out regular updates with offers and vouchers.
Nature Babycare – Register as an Ambassador with Nature Babycare and get money off vouchers for their eco-disposable nappies.
Mam Club – Join to get regular testing opportunities. Â When Mam have new products they need testing you will be sent the product to test and keep in return for completing a short questionnaire.
Johnsons Naturals – Join for free samples of Johnsons Naturals products.
Cow & Gate Club – Join for money off vouchers and a free cuddly cow toy.
Aptamil Club – Join for money off vouchers and a free cuddly polar bear toy.
Do keep in mind when joining clubs that whilst the company is keen to gain your loyalty and some of your parenting £’s, you are also sharing your data and aside from agreeing to be on their mailing list, it is important to ensure that you know what you are opting into – such as being contacted by third parties, how you are being contacted (email, phone, post), frequency etc. Read the small print!
Holly, is a stay at home mum of 2.She loves shopping, especially on the internet as it saves her having to haul out the double buggy and trek into town!  Bargains are her thing and she always stocks up in the sales for the coming year (or two…or three!).
