I seriously heart Danish childrenswear brand Mini a Ture. Even though its technically a Scandi brand, I think what’s contributed to its ever-increasing popularity is that designer Anne Katrine’s various influences have resulted in her delivering timeless pieces that slot in wherever the wearer is based. They’re a little bit Scandi, a little bit French, a little bit British, some oriental influences and the list goes on, but what they always are is distinctly Mini A Ture.
Spring/summer sees pretty prints, scrumptious soft denims, statement pieces in lovely cuts with plenty of attention to detail, and mixing fresh brights with ice cream shades and muted tones. Spring/summer 2014 also takes inspiration from the Moomins, hence the twist of the playful bright colour palette in this collection.
Available from BG favourites including Yellow Lolly and Bells and Whistles, Mini a Ture also have a pop-up shop in Selfridges childrenswear department – it’s had a serious facelift and worth a visit – until 29th April.
