Apologies in advance to boy owners, but I just had to show off these divine retro swimuit/rompers.
I love a cool collaboration and they’re even better when independent’s work together. Tabitha, founder of eco boutique Mimimyne met designer Sally Hemphill on the school run and after admiring her daughters clothes which are made from reused fabrics, they created these retro styled pieces.
Featuring contrast lining, an adjustable halterneck and a sweet decorative bow on the back, I love that they’ve reused whimsy, cotton (or cotton like such as linen) soft furnishing offcuts, giving a quirky twist to florals that in other settings you might dismiss.
Hanging at the sandpit in the sunshine (work with me here as I know it’s flipping cold outside) and paddling about in the pool has never looked so good. Available in medium (2/3 years) and large (4/5 years), they’re £25 each.
