Millie Marotta wall sticker book

I first came across Millie Marotta’s wonderfully whimsical illustrations on holiday as my nieces had brought along her incredibly detailed Animal Kingdom colouring books. Her latest project is Millie Marotta’s Home Sticker Book (Batsford, RRP £20), comprising 75 pages of wall decorations that can be easily removed without marking. You’ll find birds, insects, plants and mammals in a cool palette of blues, greens, greys and mustards. My favourites are the elephants – I imagine them trooping along a wall in a line, a la Disney’s The Jungle Book. A beautiful way to update a nursery, particularly if you are renting and have white or magnolia walls that need a bit of interest.
