Now, this may not be the most attractive of products but it is unbelievably useful so I thought I would share anyway. Milla’s independence is precious to her and as she has been growing increasingly frustrated with our stiff taps when visiting the loo. To help her turn the taps (and give myself a break from running up and down the stairs every time she calls) I decided to see if I could make life easier for both of us.
There is a whole range of different products on the market to make life easier for people with limited mobility. Tap turners designed for people suffering from arthritis are the perfect thing to aid tiny hands in the bathroom. They come in two styles to adapt to a whole range of taps. As ours are the traditional style we got the adaptors which hook over the cross on top. I have positioned them so the wall ensures they can’t be turned on too hard and hey presto – our bathroom is now 100% child accessible.
