I found this on a Dutch website, 101 Woonideeen. For a couple of hours effort your little legged ones can have HOURS of fun!  All you need to do is find yourself a drying rack and use it to size and template out two pieces of fabric, remember to include the chimney. Then cut a window, and use the fabric for curtains. If you only cut the sides, and add some loops so the curtain can be held up, it can remain as one piece. Then create a back and stitch the lot together. Cheap and effective.
