Magnatab’s by Kid-o are a serious splash of intelligent, cool, beautifully designed play to help children learn to write letters and numbers. The accompanying magnetic pens are used to draw over the tablets so that the ball bearings rise up with the task of pushing them back down fun and fascinating too.
Aside from upper and lowercase letters plus numbers, there’s also a free play version (bottom right) which vaguely reminds me of Battleship and Etch a Sketch and I could definitely see myself playing with one when the kids have gone to bed. Prices range from £19.99 – £26.99 each plus there’s also a multi-buy deal for super fans at Toyella.
