For a delicious, whimsy luxe tutu with embellishments and extra detailing, I’d make a dash to Tutu du Monde.
Inspired by Parisian ballerinas, these fairy dresses are really stunning. They’re handmade and hand dyed so each one is a one off, and they have a magical, romantic feel. When Nia (now 23 months) was sent hers to check out (she has the blossom blush – above), she put it on, and proceeded to prance and float around, twirling, and being rather coquettish. She also wore it everywhere and took naps in it until we had to prise it off her. It is her favourite outfit.
They’re dusty pastels mixed with beading, sequins, feathers, and extra quirks like slight frays. Personally I think designer Andrea is so good that she should get into bridal wear – some of the pieces make wonderful flowergirl dresses.
Sizes are from 1-7 years and dresses are around US$149 each plus there a skirt only options as well as hair accessories too.
