We know that maths is all about patterns, but rarely are they as beautiful as this Times Tables poster from BG fave Lollipop Designs – they are exquisite. Rachel first came up with the idea when her own children were struggling with their tables and she wanted something that looked good while also aiding their learning. Each set comprises an A3 poster (with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10 times tables on one side and 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12 overleaf) plus a set of six A4 worksheets (available in flower or spiderweb designs). They are based on the wheel method, which is proven to be very effective in helping children memorise tables. Poster sets cost £15 and are so pretty I recommend buying two and framing them next to each other. Educational art – we love it!
