Think of Little Baby Company (LBC) as destination temptation. It’s without a doubt right up there as one of the best online boutiques for babies and toddlers, offering modern and unique products for babies up to pre-schoolers. It was one of the first stores we ever features – seriouely, we have all been obsessed for years – and now it has a shiny new look and website.
Why we love it: From the moment it opened its online doors, BG has been enthralled because LBC reflects our ethos. Every visit to the store guarantees you’ll see something that you haven’t seen somewhere else, and if you want to buy key pieces across a variety of price ranges and wow people, this is the place to go. The homewares section oozes chic, plus they have a lot of handmade, wooden and eco products. Everything is high quality, high design and high style.
Three hot buys: The rocking Woolly Mammoth has future heirloom written all over it. It is gorgeous and only £109 – a fabulous Christmas pressie for a little one. Talking of pressies, this wooden stacking rabbit is so lovely with his little smiley face and colourful wooden rings. He costs £23.95 and looks as good on the shelf as it does on the playmat. We’re also loving the range of origami lamps – this fearsome T-Rex is just £27 and he has an equally divine polar bear friend. Perfect for the nursery. I know we’re only allowed four, but I had to sneak in this stoneware pitcher, £47.95, which will be making its way onto my wish list.
Brands: Loads of old favourites, including OlliElla, Djeco, FermLiving, Meri Meri, Flensted, Maileg and A Little Lovely Company, plus slightly less well known Lucie Kaas wooden figurines, Oli & Carol rubber teethers, Fine Little Day homewares, Cotton Baby (their velour star music boxes are a classic) and Kippins comforters.
