I’ve been saying for donkey’s now that it would be great to see some online boutiques totally branching out and shaking up the clothing front with something different and finally, along comes Bellieboo.
London based Koko is from Japan and has recently launched this online boutique dedicated to cool Japanese designer kidswear for 1-12 year olds. Taking inspiration from not being able to find the clothes she liked over here for her daughter, she decided to start importing her favourites from back home.
Currently Bellieboo only has girls stuff but boys (we can hardly wait) will be added later this year. Japanese products and clothing tend to be deliciously attractive and the pieces in store are chic and simple, but with wonderful detailing. Lace trim, little pom poms on the trousers, cool motifs, polka dot lining peeping out from the turqoise cardi, the fabulous retro sling (the pattern is also on a gorgeous blanket, and blackboards in the shape of a bag, ukelele, and bucket.
Prices start from £21.50 for t-shirts, £28.50 for the cardigans, and around £31.50 for the trouser and top sets, £24.50 for the blackboards, and £31.30/£32 for the slings and blankets.
