Popped into M&S the other day and was pleasantly surprised to spot the Walkmates range of children’s shoes. Ok, so they’re not all amazing, but there are at least four styles that would give designer brands a run for their money. With prices starting from £20, they’re a bit more expensive than your usual high street fare, but they are made from quality leather and suede with extra wiggle room for toes and non-slip soles. All styles are available in sizes 4-9, with width fitting F/G. My favourites are the patent yellow plait sandals – they remind me of my own sunny Sun-Sans and are sure to look super-cute on.
