Hot on the high street: Clarks yellow t-bar shoes

Oh for a child with smaller feet! High street stalwart Clarks is not usually somewhere I would look for children’s shoes as, in the past, I have got so deeply frustrated by their pink, glitter and flowers for girls and blue, pirates and dinosaurs for boys policy. Things have been improving though and these retro lovelies are just one of several designs I’d happily put Kitty or Alfie in (see also Jupiter Hop, £32, and Bonnie Boo in Rose Gold, £32). The eye-popping retro-styled Dabi Leila yellow t-bars come in sizes from 4 to 6.5 and widths F and G and cost £32 a pair – they also come in bright pink, but let’s not talk about that, eh?
