Well, now Jeffers’ fans needn’t restrict themselves to reading his books, they can also wear his quirky illustrations. On their feet to be exact, in the form of a trainer collaboration with French eco footwear brand Veja. The white leather digitally printed trainers are available in sizes from 22 to 35 and feature animals from the author’s latest book, the brilliant Here We Are: Notes for Living on Planet Earth (HarperCollins, RRP £14.99). Made in Brazil from leather, with rubber soles and organic cotton lining, they are fabulous, if slightly pricey at €80. Everyone at BG HQ is coveting them!
