We’ve been keeping an eye out for rugs over the past few months but always seemed to fall in love with crazy expensive ones but after admiring Heather’s rug on her blog Growing Spaces, she tipped me off to Plantation Rug Company. Stuffed full of contemporary, affordable, high quality delights that fit in to a variety of spaces, I ended up snapping up one of their Magoo rugs (pictured and 120 X 180 cm) in their sample sale for £100 – the sale isn’t showing on the homepage anymore but you can still access the rug via the link as well as here plus I still have the link for the £75 samples, and £50 samples.
Made from 100% wool, it’s like I’m resting my feet on chunky woollen 100s and 1000s. It was originally intended for the girls room but it somehow found its way into the dining room. A hot destination for rugs for family spaces – bookmark (or swoop) now. Incidentally, we went for the Lily rug (below) for our sitting room.
