Wooden toys with heirloom appeal really excite us here at BG and I’m a tad besotted with these stunning handcrafted cars by Irish designer Mark Heaney. The body of each wheeled delight is made from oak and the wheels from walnut, all of course sourced in Ireland. Each one is unique and the texture, grain, tones and shapes all combine to make these look just as wonderful on the shelf (I suspect some ‘big kid’ car lovers will really appreciate these) as they do off it and being pushed around by your child. €24.95 each and delivery is just €4.95 worldwide.
