If you’re looking to make your child’s room fun and fresh, one that lets them play, daydream and use their imagination but also makes your heart sign, you have to grab a copy of Little Big Rooms, New Nurseries and Rooms to Play in (Gestalten, £40). The book offers inspiration, beautiful photography, recommendations, and tips for both new rooms or those areas that could do with a little TLC.
The book is all about creating beautiful spaces but also helps us adults defend out own spaces by advising how to create child-friendly corners so children can play – or withdraw easily – but still be.
Admittedly, some of these looks are all the spends, but it’s really about being inspired if you don’t have the budget, take the bits you love and make them work for you, but there’s also a lot of high street buys – H&M bed linen, IKEA storage – and thrift shop finds. There’s vintage and retro, sleek and modern, whimsical, colour, monochrome… and lots of things we’ve featured here on BG to!
Great book for interior lovers or those that need inspiration. Huge thumbs up.
