Cool Kickstarter: Format 15 Squirrel game

Alfie and Kitty are very keen on travel games – we rarely go anywhere without Dobble, Uno, Top Trumps or Yahtzee – so they were thrilled to receive Squirrel in the post from Format 15. It’s the cutest little two-player game, featuring a pair of wooden squirrels and hand screen-printed leaf and acorn cards, all packaged in a teeny cardboard box. The aim is to collect the most acorns before the leaves turn brown and games last no more than five minutes – suitable for children from about four. We liked the traditional feel and the fact it is small enough to pop into a pocket for a trip to a restaurant or on a train. Lots of rewards available on Kickstarter, starting with £12 for one game, delivered in November, saving £3 on the retail price of £15.
