Elisabeth Dunker from Gothenburg is the woman behind Fine Little Day. If you haven’t already found her blog, subscribe now for daily updates on her eclectic design finds – that eclecticism is clearly a major facet of her own design process. I so love these online shops you find which sell a few bits of this and a few of that. At Fine Little Day, they have these traditional white or navy blue pieces (€24 for a hat, €29 for a bodysuit) that will give your child the altogether agreeable look of an airmail envelope. There are even matching tights for Mum: I do not suggest that you co-ordinate with baby, but they are calling to me rather strongly in their own right.
Check out the prints, if you are after something a wee bit different and rather offbeat. Then for my final pick, there is this lovely wallpaper, €25 per sq m, created from the drawings of Dunkers’ son Otto. What a great idea.
