I was tipped off about Volksfaden, the Berlin based fabric haven by Jami from The Grateful Thread. With lots of über cool buys from designers such as Kokka, MoMo, Tina Givens, Robert Kaufman, Alexander Henry, Amy Butler, Tula Pink, and Erin McMorris, you could get lost in this clicking haven.
I’ve been on the lookout for ribbons that could be used in decor projects, like when I used Famille Summerbelle decorative ribbon tape to cover drawer panels and they have a brilliant collection (see top pic) from a host of German indie designers in a great selection of themes starting from euro 1.20 per meter. Delivery is exceedingly reasonable too – great for feeding your fabric thirst and your desire to make your own. Enjoy!
