Hot on the heels of yesterday’s preview of ej sikke lej’s spring/summer 2010 collection, comes Danish favourite Katvig who I know are seriously popular with a lot of BG readers. Still focused on popping coloured clothing with eclectic prints combined with sustainable production, the forthcoming collection is a visual delight with me instantly homing in on their canvas shoes with the velcro fastenings.
There’s plenty of fresh green and turquoise, icecream shades of pink and yellow, as well as a pink and grey 80s style colourway. I’m loving their grow-fit denim dungarees which very cleverly let a couple of your kids wear them if they are, say, 2 to 3 years apart. They can be rocked as dungarees, turned up to make shorter for the younger tot, or have the top of them removed to turn them into jeans – loving it, loving it!
As always they’re strong for both sexes with for instance, the urban style hoodies and trousers or their a-mazing striped cotton jumpsuits which are bang on trend, plus I love their baggy trouser and legging staples. The collection should hit stores in early February, with their Big Apple print tee’s which are part of their high summer collection along with their drop waist and woven cotton dresses, available from April.
