I’m always on the lookout for affordable, ethical, clothing for babies and kids that avoid being bland, and Australian company Eternal Creation who specialise in fair trade clothing that’s been created by Himalayan workshop artisans, certainly fit that bill.
The founder and designer, Frances Carrington, designs the prints and outfits which go from birth to ten years for both sexes, and I’m especially keen on their rompers, like the dotty delight on the right. They currently have 40% off at the moment and calculate shipping based on the weight (for example one item would be around £5.80 postage), and everything is made to order with great attention to detail and dispatched from the workshop. I’m even fascinated by the clothes being sent in cloth packaging which is sealed with stitching and wax – very cool and old style!
