Natalie writes…We don’t mention French clothing brands enough on BG but fortunately with stores like Bibaloo dedicated to high style from France, I suspect it will be on the increase. One look at the dreamy striped Liberty blouse by Epinome (above) £35, and I became an instant fan.
It’s a mix of thin, wispy stripes and coloured dots laid on a vintage schoolboy styled blouse with piping detail around the bib neck and cuffs. They suggest this ‘blouse’ for both boys and girls (jurys out on that one for me) and it’s also available in an equally delectable dress £39.
Designed by Fanny Chretien, it’s a range of luxurious well-cut clothing that captures effortless style with it’s use of Liberty prints, alpaca, and natural fabrics with subtle details, and all of it for babies up to 18 months.
The current collection is an eclectic mix of well chosen rich, deep colours, classic designs, and on trend pieces and I’m just thankful (sort of) that the bambino is far too old for this. But…that still leaves the unborn baby 2…
I do love a good ‘ole pair of bloomers and if I had a boy (and better weather), he’d be definitely wearing a pair of their unisex milleraies cord bloomers (left) £28, which also come in khaki and claret and can be worn by girls too. They feature a tiny mother of pearl button on the belt of the waist and they close with a crossover.
Check out the rest of the Eponime collection at Bibaloo which includes Liberty baby bootees as well as velour ones with an urchin vibe, hats, dresses, sleepsuits, and knitwear. Prices range from £15-£65.
