If you’ve ever aspired to make your own clothing for your child but find it a bit daunting or have already tried out the UK’s very own retro comeback, Clothkits, you’ll love LittleFishBigPond on etsy.
The owner Linda Trent sells DIY dress kits which include the pattern, the pre-cut fabrics and accessories so that you can create stunners like the ‘Country Parisian’ dress pictured. As well as the style pictured, there’s short sleeved ‘peasant’ dresses and swing skirts. The great thing is that with the decent age range on pieces, you can graduate a dress into a tunic as they grow and Linda has put together some fabulous kits with wonderful fabric combinations that are retro and vintage inspired.
Prices range from around $10 to $19, delivery is $5, although if you’re buying multiple items it goes down to $1. Sizes start from 9 months to 2 years right up to 6-9 years.
Now all we need to find someone who does equally cool kits for boys!
