Yes, I know it’s warmed up outside, but that doesn’t stop me being obsessed with beautiful blankets. I have a real penchant for (of course!) Welsh tapestry blankets – I have a few vintage and modern (from Melin Tregwynt), but I can always be persuaded into lusting after new designs. Step up, Slowdown Studio, the creative baby of LA-based, Australian designer Marc Hendrick, who collaborates with illustrators and artists on his divine limited-edition woven blankets. They are all exceedingly beautiful, and, in my opinion, much more suited to being hung on the wall than draped over a sofa or (horror!) used as a picnic rug, but I think that this one, Perry by Melbourne artist Claire Ritchie, is my absolute favourite – the rainbow arcs and yellow tones are just so good. £220, Dowse on Trouva.
