Alfie, six in April, is a budding scientist – he loves all things experimental and space-related. He’s a real nature boy and is never happier than when he’s exploring the great outdoors, but he’s also heavily into board games and puzzles. We’re also a house of bookworms and now Alfie’s able to read on his own there’s no stopping him – we may soon own everything Enid Blyton ever wrote! Watch out for our guide to the best gift books later this week. He’s always constructing something – usually a laboratory of some description – from Lego (it vies for space with the Blyton books), but he equally enjoys craft and music, so we’ve decided to surprise him with a keyboard (shhhh, don’t tell) as our ancient piano is difficult to play.
