We’re hand picking gifts for our children this year as part of our gift guide, and we have already shared what’s on Kitty, Alfie, Lola’s, Finn and Nia’s lists. Up next is eight-year-old Saria, BG’s eldest child and Nia’s big sister.
Saria’s in her own little world and her love of small world hasn’t changed and would happily have every Sylvanian Families, Playmobil and Lego set going if she had her way! That said, she has so much of it that we’re just plugging in gaps with her small world buys this year.
A magpie, Saria has a keen eye for spotting vintage books and toys and has a growing collection plus she loves beautifully illustrated books especially any that allow her to discover facts about the world around her. Still weak for a soft toy and doll, she collects woodland dolls by Lapin & Me and has started collecting snow globes as well after buying her first in Amsterdam this past summer.
Like Claire, we’ve made the decision not to buy a big gift this year, so the focus is on books and things to treasure.
