I love exciting boys clothing and when online boutique destination for cool kidswear from Japan, Bellieboo launched last Spring, we told Yumi to hurry up and introduce the boys section. It’s here! Well almost!
Unusual Japanese label Boo Foo Woo (named after three imaginary pigs) has been going since 1984 and focuses on classic, colourful yet quirky clothing that avoids following trends. Chock full of originality, I love the ‘Backalley’ tops which capture a scene of a little boy giving away fliers from his hot air balloon, £19.50 each and available in sizes from 3-4 years – these are on the site available for preorder and easily work for both sexes.
I got a sneak peek of some of the other pieces which include the striking Lucky 7 sweatshirts which feature an illustration of a skeleton playing guitar in the woods, £26, the preppy jumpers with the unusual neck and sleeve details for standout, £42.20, and the embellished slim jeans, £36.95. The skull gloves, £16.95 are shabby cool.
