I’m always on the lookout for new places to shop research and my eyes were on stalks when I stumbled across online store Beetroot which is dedicated to wowing us with Polish inspired delights for the home.
Set up by two Scot’s based in Warsaw, Helen and Louise have made it their mission to deliver a blend of contemporary Polish design mixed with industrial and folk style influences. What results is a slice of Polish heaven!
I’m seriously hankering for the Pleciaki storage stools, £95, designed by Katarzyna Herman-Janiec’s which are hand woven from old newspapers and magazines, and inspired by traditional Polish enameled buckets. The folk inspired cushioned lids double as a scrumptious stool for your child and they come in the three colourways shown.
I love the clever industrial appeal of the REtyreD See-Saw, £80, designed by Małgosia Wesolowska. The simple yet highly functional and very attractive is the perfect shade of quirky and is made made from plywood and rubber and can come au naturale or painted in any colour you like.
They also have a great range of bodysuits and t-shirts featuring cultural motifs, £12-£15. That’s just some of the highlights from the kids section and don’t even get me started on the rest of the delights! A must click!
