Mamas and papas, once again we have been on the back to school hunt, and this time it's all about the shoes. First up, don't worry about buying shoes online, it’s easy! Most sites have a size guide to print out, or measurements for you to compare against. When you have the shoes at home, let them walk about in them but also check you have a generous amount of space at the toe – aim for at least a cm (I always advise at least a finger in width). If they’re not snug around the back, they’re too big. And remember, when you get measured in high-street stores, they’re measuring against their own size chart, so it's not necessarily transferrable to other brands.
