Now isn’t this a great looking highchair. It’s the MiChair from iCandy. Inspired by designer furniture – we can definitely see some influences – and made for longevity, it’s a highchair that transforms into a chair and a rocking chair, so as your child develops so does the MiChair. It can be used from birth when used with the iCandy Pod, which also enables your baby is up at parent height when feeding. The Pod simply docks onto the MiChair. Once a high chair is no longer need, it converts in to both a chair and rocking chair which can be used up to age 6 years.
The chair back and rocking chair skis are sourced from Beech, Birch and Plywood, whilst the legs come in a high shine chrome. The chair costs £250, the pod £150 and the comfort pack is £50; the full package will set you back an eye-watering £450. However, the longevity balances the price. It really does look fabulous, but when I see my Stokke Tripp Trapps being used by adults as well as kids, I think it’s a shame they’ve missed the 6+ age group. Still, it’s eye candy (pun intended) and that chair and rocker are ticking all the right boxes! See full details and order yours over at John Lewis.
