We’re not keen on the whole pink/blue fairy/spaceman gender divide here at BG, so we love these posters for children with a message from illustrator Amanda Visell. The girls’ prints feature a knight, a pilot, a a wild woman and a captain – a welcome alternative to princesses and air hostesses. Because girls can do anything.
 
The boys’ posters are equally pleasing. ‘Build better boys,’ says Amanda, with the slogans: ‘I am proud to be nerdy’, ‘I use my powers for good’, ‘I will make things better’ and ‘I am nice to nature’. Each poster will set you back $30 or $100 for the set of four. Go on, smash a few stereotypes today – I assure you it’ll feel good.
