Pretend and imaginative play is a key stage in your childs development and it also keeps them occupied for hours, and from experience, I think it is better to buy one or two good pieces for this to happen. I created a little corner for my daughter to call her own and we set up her own imaginary area and she loved it. If she was a young ‘un again, I don’t think I’d be able to resist this all-in-one play kitchen and store cupboard.
Made from Maple wood, it has a blue finish, so is suitable for both boys and girls, comes flat packed, and is easy to assemble. It has internal and external shelves, lockable casters and a lifting handle for easy movement.
The worktop is fab with designated areas for washing up, cooking, and ironing, carved out of it. The sink has it’s own drainer like a proper kitchen, it’s got a four ring hob, and an iron to go with the minimalist ironing board. It also has a washing machine, oven, and plenty of storage areas for filling up with food and toys.
Available from ToyTidy for £235 so it is certainly up at the designer wallet end of the scale.
