Clouds are one of those enduring motifs that often crop up on decor and furnishings – you only have to think of Farg & Form’s iconic bedding. Lately, though, they’ve definitely been on the rise on clothing, too, what with Tootsa’s cloud sweater, Maxomorra’s print PJs and Wilde & Woolley’s Young Cloudspotter Box. Here are a few of my current favourites.
Cotton t-shirt, £19, Cute Graffiti. Ultra-modern motif on an ethically produced cotton tee for two to seven year olds.
KitschyCoo cotton jersey trousers, £18.95, Juicy Tots. Kitsch? Yes. Comfy? Yes. Super-cute? Definitely. For 1 to 2 year olds, but foldable cuffs and waistband give extended wear.
Kickle cotton babygro, £17, Alexandalexa. Cheer everyone up on a wet day by popping a scrumptious baby into this little number. Available in sizes from newborn to 18 months.
Anive for the Minors t-shirt, 28, Shak-Shuka. Adore the scribble effect on this cool tee which comes in sizes to fit children from two to eight years.
Wild Things Funky Little Dresses pinafore, £42, Etsy. I think it was Dolly Parton who said, ‘If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.’ Luckily, this rain is fabulous – grab a dress for your six month to eight year old.
Villervalla organic jersey t-shirt, £13.95, Imp Kids. Not a yellow fan (are you mad?) – it also comes in yellow, blueberry or raspberry, 6 months to 8 years.
Cashmere-mix playsuit, £74.95, Bonnie Baby. Oh-so-snuggly suit in grey, blue or pink in sizes up to 12 months.
Cotton knot hat, £10.95, Bob & Blossom. Brilliant baby gift – comes in newborn or 6-12 month sizes.
Rain cloud pyjamas, £26, Piccalilly. Rain would be a whole lot more palatable if it were rainbow-coloured, no? These bright organic PJs come in sizes from one to eight years.
And finally. Cashmere roamer, £220, Oyu Moyu. Yes, yes, I know it’s a lot of money, but if you want your little one to experience a bit of luxe from an early age, this is the one for you.
