I love a good baby balm and both my little ones managed to avoid nappy rash due to my possibly excessive Neal’s Yard Baby Balm habit – great for mama, too. There are loads of fab options on the market, so I’ve rounded up my favourites.
Organic Baby Balm, £20, Bamford. 100% organic and containing camomile, lavender and tea tree in a chic white pot.
Organic Soothing Salve, £18, Essential Care. Shea butter and camomile combo that’s also brilliant for cradle cap.
Organic Nappy Balm, £8.95, Little Green Radicals. New, super-moisturising balm (get 25% off all LGR skincare until the end of September.)
Organic Nappy Balm, £7.99, Tiddley Pom. Another shea butter, camomile and lavender mix to soothe and protect against nappy rash.
Sense Organics Sleep Balm, £7.95, Babipur. Packed with calming goodies to help your little one catch some zzzzzs.
Eczema Balm, from £8, Bloom Remedies. Calendula oil and camomile combine to soothe very dry or irritated skin.
Baby Bottom Butter, £2 (yes, you read correctly), Waitrose. Bargain balm that smells delicious – buy an extra pot for yourself.
Care & Soothe Mummy & Baby Balm, £4.50, Organic at Heart. As good for new mums as for babies – oat and starflower oil are the secret ingredients.
Lip and Cheek Protector, £7.99, Naturally Cool Kids. Fab for teething rash – and great mess-free packaging.Â
Mum & Baby Balm, £13.50, L’Occitane. The vintage-style French tin will add a touch of je ne sais quoi to your changing bag.
