I have been wanting to feature this buggy from the Maclaren Objects of Design Collection which has included pushchairs from the likes of Phillipe Starck and Lulu Guiness. It’s a Butchers Stripe limited edition version of the Maclaren Quest and it’s to celebrate 40 years since the founder Owen Maclaren invented the first umbrella fold buggy in an eye catching blue and white design that became known as the Butchers Stripe.
The RRP is £125 although I have spotted it for £112.49 at NurseryWorldOnline and this includes free delivery. It’s a refreshing change from your atypical Maclaren so it could be a cool alternative to fitting in with the Maclaren crowd.
Even though I’m not usually into anything that’s too branded, I can’t help but like their Lacoste pushchair from the same collection although annoyingly I cannot seem to find anywhere online that sells it. It’s kitted out in the trademark Lacoste colours and is absolutely gorgeous, but I’d be a bit nervous about keeping this clean although I’d look pretty fab pushing it.
Ideal for: M&P lovers who don’t want to be ‘risque’ with style or colour.
Bang for your style buck: Super lightweight style for your style buck although I suspect that the Lacoste one may be a tad more expensive.
Weight range: Light – 6.2kg
