We’ve featured lots of goodies from Desmond Elephant before, but never profiled the store. Let’s put that right now.
Why we love: It’s the home of bright, colourful childrenswear, with a strong emphasis on ethical and eco labels and unisex styles, plus a carefully curated selection of toys and accessories. Also, if you buy anything featuring an elephant, they donate £1 to the Elephant Family charity.
Three cool buys: I am so in love with Mini Dressing’s amazing animal knee socks, £9 a pair- definitely a must-buy for Kitty. I also NEED a Play & Go toy bag, £26, to control the tidal wave of Lego taking over my house. And, finally, something for me! Adore the mother and daughter silver Stargazer bracelets by Lennebelle Petites, £43 each – birthday gift buyers, take note…
Brands: You’ll find lots of well-known fashion favourites – The Bright Company, Boys&Girls, Corby Tindersticks, Tootsa MacGinty – plus less familiar names such as Gray Label, Tobias and the Bear, Ubang Babblechat, Pigeon by Organic for Kids and Nadadelazos. Think accessories and toys from CrayonBox, Hugger, Nelly Button, Little Titans, Milestone Cards, Rice, Love Soap and YumBox.
