I’m a big fan of divine muslin maker, Aden + Anais and they are officially my go-to baby gift. Nia, now 5, is still so in love with her pink Twinkle Star print which she’s had since she was around a week old (thanks, Nubie), she sleeps with it wrapped around her like a cape every night. High quality and actually getting better with time, these huge muslins are multi-taskers and even look great as impromptu scarves on mamas or as a makeshift sling when your neck and shoulder locks and you have to walk around with a hot water bottle….
I felt slightly swoonish when I checked out their new Daydream blankets which are aimed at all the family (read: parents who keep nicking them from their kids…). Made from a few layers of bamboo fibre muslin and a very decent 183 X 152cm, these luxury blankets get softer with each wash, and are available in four signature prints – Makana (left) is my favourite.
I heart them. £145 from Aden + Anais.
